Body of a student found in Vavuniya: cause of death unknown

The body of school child who has died under suspicious circumstances was found in the Shivapuram area in Vavuniya last evening (December 4), sources stated.
A child’s parents had looked for her after she had not returned home from school following which the body of the girl was found in a well located in a property close to her school.

The Vavuniya police are conducting further inquiries into the child’s death.
