Dengu patient dies in Vavuniya.

A family woman was affected by dengue illness in Vavuniya had died.  The deceased was the wife of a  Health Inspector who was engaged in Dengue prevention activities.

Reports states the deceased  husband, General Health Inspector was also  affected by Dengue disease. Both the patiens were admitted to Vavuniya hospital for treament. 

 

Meanwhile the tests conducted proved that both were suffering from Dengue fever. Health Inspector\'s wife condition became critical hence she was immediately transfered to Anuradhapura hospital. During treatment, she had  died yesterday early morning hours was according to hospital circle. 

 

Meanwhile the husband of the deceased had recently  returned from Colombo.After this, both had fallen sick is specualted. 

 

In recent times, it was identified that  degue sickness is massively getting spread in Vavuniya  region and to overcome this, the Girama Sevaka divisions organized Dengu Prevention teams to obstruct Dengue mosquitors getting breeded
